Our TimingHQ staff has worked with and timed some of the most complex events in the United States and abroad. We have timed everything from small local 5Ks to major marathons abroad and U.S. National Championship Triathlons. Our experience is in many types of events and distances, Ultra-marathons, triathlons, and all distances and styles of events in-between. We don’t believe in shortcuts! No event is too small or too large.
Founder & CEO
Mike has been an avid fan and participant of sports and endurance events for as long as he can remember. A high school and college athlete (football and track), Mike aspired to stay involved in sports when he transitioned from college to his career.
Over the last twenty years, Mike has aided in the success of programs across all endurance sports, with an emphasis in the running community. From managing relationships with the top endurance industry national governing bodies and organizations, to some of the most prestigious events in the world, he has actively worked with these organizations to help increase participation, manage their events and build communities.
Mike spent 15 years in technology as an employee at two of the leading event registration providers, The ACTIVE Network and Eventbrite. He understands events and what it takes to put on from the technology side of the business.
Chief Timing Officer
With nearly 20 years’ of experience in the endurance industry, Megan brought her knowledge of operations and database management as well as wealth of experience in timing software and results technology to TimingHQ. In her previous role as an Event Timing Director for a large timing and event management company in Austin, Texas, she timed hundreds of running, cycling, and triathlon races across the United States and Central America. More recently she worked at RunSignUp based in Richmond, Virginia, one of the leading online registration and timing software providers in the United States.
Chief of Operations
Cathleen, Chief of Operations, makes sure everything at TimingHQ is moving smoothly and efficiently. As a past employee of the-ACTIVE Network, Cathleen is no stranger to the Endurance Industry. Cathleen has worked with many types of Endurance organizations, from small to large, and played an integral role in further developing relationships with National Governing Bodies such as USA Swimming and USA Masters Swimming while employed by ACTIVE.
Cathleen is meticulous and detailed oriented. She brings a wealth of knowledge in product and operations expertise too TimingHQ. Cathleen is also responsible for evaluating timing equipment vendors, as well as any new technologies adopted, in addition to her responsibilities of planning, directing, and coordinating operations in support of TimingHQ's growth.
